The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Casacci avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Johansson misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Casacci counters with a nice low kick that buckles Johansson's knee momentarily.
Johansson tries a head kick but it misses.
Johansson lands with a straight right. Casacci didn't see that one coming.
Johansson scores with a decent looking hook.
Casacci swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Casacci looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Johansson throws a lazy head kick
and Casacci counters with a stiff right hand.
The fighters circling - Casacci throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Johansson rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Casacci counters with a head kick.
Casacci lands an overhand right.
Casacci ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Johansson moves away.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Casacci walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Johansson drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Casacci swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Johansson's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Max Casacci!
