Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Steve Freeman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dam Kome (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freeman lands a jab-cross combination.

Kome closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Freeman's guard.
Kome is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kome postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Kome must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Kome is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Freeman is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Freeman decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Kome feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kome can do anything to dispel that myth.

Kome controls Freeman momentarily but Freeman frees himself.
Kome is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Freeman is looking to stand up but Kome won't let him.

Kome remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Well Kome has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
