The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Polden lands with a nice combination. Salazar backs away looking to recover.
Salazar takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Polden has taken the fight to the clinch.

Polden breaks the clinch.
Polden doesn't manage to clinch there - Salazar circles away.
Salazar throws a leg kick

and Polden counters with a crisp one two that drops Salazar! Polden thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Salazar to his feet! Salazar is in big trouble!

Polden looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Polden fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Salazar is still on wobbly legs! Can Polden finish him?

Polden pushes Salazar up against the cage in a clinch.
Clinched against the cage, Polden lands a big elbow that drops Salazar! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Salazar is complaining that he's OK but he was done.
