The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uusisto tries to clinch but Immanuel is having none of it.
Uusisto just misses with a punch to the body.
Uusisto misses with an uppercut.
Uusisto throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Immanuel swings for the body but Uusisto moves out of range.
Immanuel misses the shot to the body.
Uusisto tries to close the distance and clinch but Immanuel swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Immanuel moves into range and clinches up with Uusisto.
Immanuel swings wildly with an uppercut but Uusisto uses good head movement to avoid it.

Immanuel was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Uusisto shoots in but Immanuel avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Uusisto is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Good leg kick by Uusisto there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Uusisto moves into range and clinches up with Immanuel.

Uusisto digs a right hand underneath Immanuel's ribcage. Immanuel let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Uusisto trying to control the position but instead, Immanuel has worked for underhooks and has pushed Uusisto into the cage.

Uusisto pulls guard effortlessly.

Uusisto has an active guard here but Immanuel has managed to pass into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That was a close round but I would say that Yeshua Immanuel will probably get the nod.

Uusisto misses with a takedown attempt - Immanuel sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Immanuel tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A looping hook to the body misses from Uusisto. Immanuel does a little dance to reset his feet.
Jurmas Uusisto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Uusisto shoots for a double leg takedown but Immanuel sprawls well. He's pushed Uusisto's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
A quick step to the side and Immanuel tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Uusisto finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
It looked like Immanuel wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

A little feinted left hand from Immanuel on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Immanuel shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

A little feinted left hand from Immanuel on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
A shot to the body from Uusisto misses
and Immanuel counters with a monster head kick that knocks Uusisto out cold! He topples like fallen a tree, crashing to the mat! Timbeeeeeerrr!
