PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bud Djeiba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Druff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Druff has chosen Awol Nation - Sail as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Djeiba scores with a jab. Druff acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

It looks like Dan Druff has been cut.
Djeiba bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Druff on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Djeiba. Djeiba obviously looking to wear him down.

Djeiba gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Druff has Djeiba pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Djeiba manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Djeiba lands a body punch.
Djeiba is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Druff is defending well for now.
Druff lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Djeiba is pushing Druff up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Djeiba has had enough of the clinch but Druff keeps him there for the moment.
Druff keeps control of Djeiba as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Druff is trying to drag Djeiba to the mat but Djeiba just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Bud Djeiba has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dan Druff.

Djeiba comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

That has opened up Dan Druff's cut even more.

Djeiba pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Djeiba turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Druff shoots in but Djeiba avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Djeiba is trying to break the clinch but Druff has him pressed against the cage.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Djeiba just misses with a elbow thrown towards Druff's brow.
Djeiba lands an elbow that stopped Druff in his tracks for a moment.

The cut above Dan Druff's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Druff has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Djeiba avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
