Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Arthur Carvalho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Valentin Shovkovskyj (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Arthur Carvalho!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Valentin Shovkovskyj!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carvalho darts in looking for a takedown but Shovkovskyj gets double underhooks and turns Carvalho into the cage.
Carvalho goes for a takedown attempt but Shovkovskyj pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Shovkovskyj defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Carvalho.

Shovkovskyj drops back, looking for a kneebar! Carvalho looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Carvalho looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Carvalho!

Carvalho misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Arthur Carvalho.
I think Carvalho has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
