Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Atkins and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sayers misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Sayers lands an overhand right.
Sayers works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
A telegraphed right hand from Sayers misses the target.
Sayers throws a low kick, looking for Griffith's leg but Griffith calmly moves out of range.
Nice takedown defense from Sayers. No joy for Griffith on that attempt.
A combination from Sayers does no damage.
Griffith walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Sayers throws out a loose jab but Griffith uses good head movement to avoid it.
Sayers misses with a series of wild punches.
Sayers misses with an uppercut.
Sayers moves into range and connects with a jab.
Tom Sayers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Griffith slips under a jab.
Sayers lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Griffith gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Sayers pivots, looking for a leg kick but Griffith is out of range and Sayers settles back down.
A combination from Sayers does no damage.

Griffith gets a clinch.
Griffith escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Griffith tries to move into range but Sayers moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Sayers looks to throw the jab but Griffith is out of range.
Griffith keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Griffith could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Sayers fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Sayers throws a right and a left that Griffith avoids nicely.
Sayers listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Griffith uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Sayers.
Griffith moves away from the strike by Sayers.
Griffith shoots in and gets a takedown into Sayers's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sayers working a defensive guard but Griffith passes into half guard.
Griffith is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Griffith tries to stand but can't do so whilst Sayers controls his leg.
Griffith blocks the strikes from Sayers.
Sayers is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Griffith has latched onto it... Big trouble! Griffith pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Sayers is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Griffith!
