Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jewel Lamb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Tompaqo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ivan Tompaqo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jewel Lamb!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ivan Tompaqo!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lamb checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Tompaqo misses with a double jab
and Lamb counters with a series of strikes. Tompaqo will be more careful next time no doubt.
Tompaqo shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Lamb cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
A looping hook to the body misses from Lamb. Tompaqo does a little dance to reset his feet.
Tompaqo moves into range and clinches up with Lamb.
Tompaqo tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Lamb just stands there and leans against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lamb utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
Tompaqo manages to pull guard.
Lamb loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Tompaqo has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Lamb has passed into side control.
Lamb remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Tompaqo wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Lamb stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Lamb gets tackled into the cage by Tompaqo. Tompaqo maintains the clinch.
Tompaqo throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Lamb blocks it with crossed arms.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Tompaqo looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Lamb fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Tompaqo misses with the head strike.
Lamb jumps guard but Tompaqo turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Tompaqo pulls guard successfully.
Lamb is sitting in close to Tompaqo's body. Tompaqo has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Lamb is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Lamb is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Tompaqo.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Ivan Tompaqo!
After winning the bout, Ivan Tompaqo thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
