Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rauli Raunio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Erki Turk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Raunio comes to the cage accompanied by The Drugs Don't Work. Turk comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Fischerspooner - Never Win (Benny Benassi remix) kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rauli Raunio!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Erki Turk!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Arvi Lind and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turk tries for a takedown but Raunio circles away easily
and Raunio counters with a solid body kick.
Turk misses the jab.
Turk takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Raunio throws a head kick that misses.
Raunio moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Erki Turk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Turk gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Raunio has Turk up against the cage in a clinch.

Raunio tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Turk's elbow.
Raunio doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Raunio lands a nice shot to the body.
Turk is trying to drag Raunio to the mat but Raunio just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Turk.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Raunio stops a takedown attempt from Turk.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Turk has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Rauli Raunio has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Erki Turk.

I was talking to Raunio's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Raunio tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Turk's elbow.
Turk misses with a hook to the ribs.
Turk wants a takedown.

Raunio creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Turk's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Turk drops to his knees and Raunio pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

An out of breath Rauli Raunio thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
