The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Nard Betker and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nyrkki lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Nyrkki lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
It looks like Syam Kilroy has been cut.
Kilroy takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Kilroy dives in and grabs Nyrkki's left leg, looking for a takedown. Nyrkki pushes down on Kilroy's head and hops out.
Nyrkki stalks Kilroy and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Kilroy's face. Kilroy staggers backwards, shaken.
Nyrkki throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Kilroy on the side of the head.
Kilroy looks for a takedown but Nyrkki sprawls well.
Nyrkki lands a nice shot that snaps Kilroy's head back.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kilroy moves into range and clinches up with Nyrkki.
Nyrkki looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Nyrkki breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nyrkki fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Kilroy takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nyrkki scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Nyrkki misses with a two punch combination.
Mika Nyrkki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nyrkki drops Kilroy with a beautiful combination! Kilroy stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Nyrkki is looking for the KO!
Syam Kilroy's cut is getting worse.
Nyrkki fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nyrkki ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Nyrkki lands a left and a right that send Kilroy crashing to the mat, dazed. Nyrkki thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Oh Kilroy is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Syam Kilroy's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Nyrkki cracks Kilroy with a hook to the temple - Kilroy is on wobbly legs here! Nyrkki swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Kilroy falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Nyrkki wins by TKO!
