Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Erik Gordon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Speedy Light (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gordon throws a hook but Light avoids it easily.
Light lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
A jab from Light finds it's way through Gordon's defenses.

It looks like Erik Gordon has been cut.
Gordon misses with a shot to the body
and Light counters with a two punch combo.

Light darts in and clinches Gordon up against the cage.
Light tries to throw a body punch but Gordon avoids it by throwing Light back against the cage.
Gordon is trying to break the clinch but Light has him pressed against the cage.
Gordon is looking to break free of the clinch but Light has double underhooks.
Gordon has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Light keeps control of Gordon as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Light is pushing Gordon up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Light is leaning against Gordon and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.

Light manages to break the clinch.

Gordon looks to score with a jab to the body but Light is just out of range.
Light scores with a nice head shot.
Gordon walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Nice shot lands for Light.
Light displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gordon.
Light lands a head shot.
Light moves into range and connects with a jab.
Gordon walks into a straight right hand from Light.

Light drops Gordon with a beautiful combination! Gordon stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Light is looking for the KO!

Gordon is rocked!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
BAM! Light delivers a spinning backfist that drops Gordon like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
