Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Angelo Baptista (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Magestico Garuntasticos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Garuntasticos has chosen The Monkey Has Escaped! as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Garuntasticos shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Garuntasticos is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Baptista defends it well.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Garuntasticos throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Baptista to regain full guard.
Baptista bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Garuntasticos 's guard.

Baptista got a little sloppy there for a moment and Garuntasticos has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Baptista has managed to get both his arms back between Garuntasticos 's legs - danger averted.

Garuntasticos has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Baptista is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Garuntasticos .

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Garuntasticos feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Baptistas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Baptista lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Garuntasticos has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Garuntasticos and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Baptista tries a head kick but it misses.

Garuntasticos has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Baptista finds it's way round the side to connect with Garuntasticos 's head.

Garuntasticos fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Baptista on the side of the head.
Good leg kick by Baptista there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Baptista lands a big head kick that sends Garuntasticos tumbling to the mat! Baptista takes a step backwards and waves Garuntasticos back to his feet - he wants the finish!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Garuntasticos misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Garuntasticos is still on wobbly legs! Can Baptista finish him?
Garuntasticos tries to get into range but Baptista steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Garuntasticos ! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Baptista scores the big KO victory!
