The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maguire buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
An inside leg kick from Maguire misses.
Maguire throws a leg kick but Uno sees it coming and moves out of range.
Maguire feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Uno's calf.
Maguire throws a leg kick but Uno moved away.
Maguire tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Maguire really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The crowd cheers as Maguire lands an impressive looking overhand right. Uno doesn't seem phased though.

Maguire fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Uno has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Uno has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Maguire does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Uno shoots in but no luck this time.

Maguire regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Uno.
Uno stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Maguire swivels though and keeps the full guard.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Maguire here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Uno throws a strike but Maguire rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
