The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Elissondo attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

Elissondo dives in and scores a takedown into Wise's guard.

Wise escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Elissondo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Elissondo not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Wise is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Elissondo defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Wise is hanging on to Elissondo's back as he tries to escape.
Wise gets his hands free as Elissondo looks to control.
Elissondo grimaces as he takes a shot to the body.

Wise is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

It looks like Antwan Wise has been cut.
Elissondo is looking to take a break and control but Wise is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Elissondo has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Elissondo stands up and beckons Wise to his feet.
Nano Elissondo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Elissondo lands a big head kick that sends Wise tumbling to the mat! Elissondo takes a step backwards and waves Wise back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Antwan Wise is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Elissondo pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Wise might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Elissondo cracks Wise with a big right hand but Wise just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Oh Wise is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Elissondo tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Elissondo has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
