Meier misses with a takedown attempt
and Whitley holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Whitley has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Meier is trying to keep an underhook but Whitley manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Meier has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Whitley is working away from the top position though.
Meier is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Whitley is tapping! Great win for Meier!
