The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tappi on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by James. James obviously looking to wear him down.
We've been hearing reports that James has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Tappi fails with a takedown attempt.
James really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Tappi takes a kick to the side of the head.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Tappi feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

James is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Tappi has taken his back.

Tappi is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. James is defending well though. Tappi let's go of the attempt for now.

Tappi has both hooks in and is working for a choke. James is in real trouble here. Tappi gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, James is tapping out! Tappi wins by rear naked choke!
