Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nicholas Weichel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ross Peerson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tired and clearly flustered, he entered the arena late and after a little discussion it was decided that the bout should take place.
Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nicholas Weichel and Ross Peerson. Peerson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Good Feeling. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Konstantin Menshow and Ivan Kurochkin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peerson throws a big shot that misses.

Weichel shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Peerson napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Weichel trying to control the position but Peerson is working away.
Weichel misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Weichel is staying tight to Peerson's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Peerson dodges the ground and pound from Weichel.
Sloppy strikes there by Weichel.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A bit of a lull in the action here.

Weichel wants to control but Peerson is keeping him busy.

Weichel is trying to get an arm triangle but Peerson is defending well.
Weichel happy to just control the position for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Weichel works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Peerson is looking to reverse the position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Weichel wants to lay and pray for a moment but Peerson keeps working.
Peerson is looking for a sweep.

Weichel looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Weichel misses with the ground and pound.
Peerson is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Weichel thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Peerson wants to get back to his feet but Weichel is dominant here and he's now got Peerson's back!

Weichel is working for a rear naked choke. Peerson is not defending it well and Weichel has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Peerson refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Peerson's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
