The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sagat scores with a kick to the body.
Sagat lands a nice looking kick to the body. Sheppard takes a step back to recover.

Sagat drives through and clinches with Sheppard against the cage.
Sagat keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Sheppard's efforts to push away.

Sheppard is trying to pull guard but Sagat turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Sagat scores with a hook to the body.
Sheppard takes a knee to the side of the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sagat manages to break the clinch.
Sheppard takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Sagat lands an elbow that stopped Sheppard in his tracks for a moment.
Sagat with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.

Sagat continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up.

Sagat pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Sagat cracks Sheppard with a hook to the temple - Sheppard is on wobbly legs here! Sagat swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Sheppard falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Sagat wins by TKO!
