The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gregorio is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Nielsen's half guard.

Gregorio decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Nielsen could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Gregorio tries for a takedown but Nielsen sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

and Gregorio counters with a nice double leg into side control. Nielsen won't be happy with that.

Gregorio scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Nielsen is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Gregorio can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
