Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Victor Costa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mika Salama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Costa shoots in looking for a takedown. Salama tries to sprawl out of it but Costa keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Salama manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Salama scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Costa manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Salama keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
