The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weidman throws a leg kick but Felipe sees it coming and moves out of range.
Weidman shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Weidman showed some decent athleticism there.
Felipe has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Weidman is working away from the top position though.
Weidman looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
