Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Manny Woods (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Melanie Powers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Woods comes to the cage accompanied by Jackson 5 - ABC. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Powers tries to close the distance and clinch up but Woods swats him away and circles back towards the center.

It looks like Melanie Powers has been cut.
Powers on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Woods changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Powers tries to clinch there but Woods circles away.
Woods keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Woods sends Powers crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Woods is motioning to the referee to let Powers up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Woods postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Powers to stand up.
Powers is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Woods.
Woods feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Powers sprawling to the canvas! Powers rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Woods finish him?!

Woods shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Powers is desperately trying to improve his position but Woods has a good base and remains in mount.
