The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flowers dives in and grabs Black's left leg, looking for a takedown. Black pushes down on Flowers's head and hops out.
Black fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
A good leg kick by Black.
An inside leg kick from Black misses.
Black misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Black lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Flowers circles away quickly and effectively.

Flowers forces Black back against the cage and clinches.

Flowers breaks from the clinch.

Flowers moves into the clinch.

Flowers's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Flowers closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Flowers effectively controlling the action here.
Black is trying to drag Flowers to the mat but Flowers just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Flowers is trying to maintain a safe position but Black gets an underhook and turns Flowers into the cage.

Flowers wants a takedown but no success here.

Black manages to break the clinch.
Black misses with the combination.

Flowers has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Black.
Tyrone Black seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Black throws a front kick that sends Flowers stumbling back into the cage.
Flowers is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Flowers really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Black fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Flowers, pushing him back against the cage.

Black breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Oooooh!!! Black has knocked Flowers down with a huge combo! Black steps away and waves a wobbly Flowers back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Flowers is rocked!

It looks like Roderick Flowers has been cut.
Black throws an uppercut from hell that sends Flowers clean off his feet! He's out cold! Black stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
