Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gerry Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
An inside leg kick lands from Khan.
Khan tried to score with a low kick but Hall checks it.
Khan slips a jab and a cross from Hall.
Khan looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Khan buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Hall shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Khan as he jumps to the side.
Khan stuffs the takedown attempt from Hall. Hall gets slowly back to his feet.
Khan connects with an inside leg kick.
Nice sprawl there from Khan as Hall shoots in.
Gerry Khan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris Hall.
Hall goes for a double leg but Khan avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Khan continues to drive forward.
Khan wants to get back to striking at distance but Hall won't allow it.

Hall breaks from the clinch.
Khan fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Hall.
Khan thumps Hall with a low kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Hall shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Khan lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Khan feints and then cracks Hall's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hall down.
Hall on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Khan. Khan obviously looking to wear him down.

Good leg kick by Khan there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Khan fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Hall has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Khan throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Hall is trying desperately to land a takedown but Khan is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Hall.

Hall's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Khan lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Hall bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Khan.
Khan connects with a solid leg kick.
Hall dives in for a single leg takedown but Khan sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Hall as Khan tries to tie him up.

Both guys are working to get underhooks.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Hall takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Khan lands a big head kick that sends Hall tumbling to the mat! Khan takes a step backwards and waves Hall back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Chris Hall has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hall chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Khan can pounce on him.
Hall is still on wobbly legs! Can Khan finish him?
A head kick by Khan - that's a beauty! Hall is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Khan can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
