Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Brandon Snijder!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eleven Twelve!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Daniel Cesar and Emerson Jorge.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Twelve bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Snijder's head.
Twelve throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Twelve shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Snijder eats them both and turns towards Twelve to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Snijder looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Twelve moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Jab, jab by Twelve - just one landing.
Twelve throws a series of punches but Snijder avoids them all with ease.
Twelve will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Snijder counters with a shoot takedown. Twelve fights it but they end up in guard.

Snijder is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Twelve can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
The referee warns Twelve that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Snijder has control of Twelve's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Twelve regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Twelve throws a sloppy strike from the bottom. He's now off balance and Snijder manages to pass to side control.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Twelve tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Snijder wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Snijder is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Twelve knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Twelve looks to move to half guard but instead Snijder has passed into mount! Damn!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Twelve wants to hold on but Snijder pushes him away.

Snijder goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Twelve is on top in guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Brandon Snijder will probably get the nod.

Snijder tries to score a power double leg takedown but Twelve sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Snijder somewhat.

Twelve throws a right hand that Snijder ducks under and follows up with a left that Snijder also avoids with ease.
Brandon Snijder is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Snijder shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Twelve sprawls well. Twelve wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Snijder gets slowly back to his feet.

Twelve tries to improve his position but Snijder has taken his back! Snijder has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Twelve tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Snijder pushes Twelve away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
