The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grupe falls off balance throwing a combination
and Ribera counters with a straight right hand.
Grupe tries to bum rush Ribera with a series of wild strikes but Ribera uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Grupe goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

It looks like Manny Ribera has been cut.
Grupe lands with a right hand.
Grupe swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Grupe looks to score with a jab to the body but Ribera is just out of range.

Ribera dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
A telegraphed right hand from Ribera misses the target.
Ribera connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Ribera throws a hook but Grupe avoids it easily.
Grupe swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Ribera throws a lazy right hand but Grupe sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Ribera lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Ribera tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Grupe was well out of range. Poor timing from Ribera.
Grupe comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Grupe throws a right and a left that Ribera avoids nicely.

and Grupe counters with a one-two to the body.
Ribera dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Grupe. That did some damage!
Grupe throws a body punch but Ribera moves out of range.
Ribera scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Grupe ducks under a wild hook from Ribera.

Ribera moves in looking to clinch but Grupe pushes him off.

and Ribera counters with a huge left! Grupe is in big trouble! He's backing up but Ribera isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Grupe from any more damage. A dominating finish by Ribera!

Manny Ribera really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Kemists ↑ 5x160Q logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
In defeat, Norbert Grupe stepped up to the mic, saying 'going back to my old fighting style...by knocking people out!'.
