Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Aleksei Boyka!
The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Whitfield stuffs the takedown attempt from Boyka. Boyka gets slowly back to his feet.
Whitfield is looking to clinch.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Boyka closes the distance and clinches up with Whitfield, looking for a takedown. Boyka pushes Whitfield against the cage but Whitfield circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Boyka shoots in for a double leg but Whitfield sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Wilton Whitfield has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aleksei Boyka.
Boyka checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Boyka manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Whitfield on his heels. He'll look to pass Whitfield's guard now, I'm sure.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Whitfield controlling Boyka's posture.
Boyka tries to free his leg and advance position but Whitfield is retaining full guard.
Whitfield seems keen to control Boyka's posture.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Boyka wants to control from the top but Whitfield keeps moving.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Boyka manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Whitfield on his heels. He'll look to pass Whitfield's guard now, I'm sure.
Whitfield is adopting a defensive guard.
Boyka working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Whitfield's head.
Boyka sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Whitfield's guard.
Boyka wants to take a breather but Whitfield is having none of it.
Whitfield keeping hold of Boyka's head, controlling as best he can.
Boyka frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Boyka throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Whitfield has his hands clasped together but Boyka breaks the hold and Whitfield is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Boyka!
