Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joe Penn Reyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Radal Mileno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Joe Penn Reyes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Radal Mileno!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mileno misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Reyes looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Reyes tries to clinch but Mileno is having none of it.
Mileno works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Reyes leaves Mileno with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
A left and a right from Mileno both land. Nice combination.
Mileno fails in his attempt to clinch.
A solid body kick from Mileno.
Mileno lands a front kick.
Mileno lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Mileno shoots in looking for a takedown but Reyes manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Mileno's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Joe Penn Reyes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Radal Mileno.
Mileno throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Mileno changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Reyes tries to avoid it but Mileno manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Reyes to the ground. Reyes escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

and Reyes counters with a takedown into side control.

Mileno is looking to regain half guard here but Reyes keeps moving and retains side control.

Reyes is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Mileno is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Mileno is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Mileno tries to bench press Reyes off him but Reyes keeps the position.
Mileno can't do much from the bottom here.

Mileno is looking to reverse the position.
Reyes throws a strike aimed at the side of Mileno's head but Mileno avoids it well.
Mileno holds on to Reyes's head and controls the position momentarily.
Mileno stops Reyes from passing to mount.

Mileno wants to get back to his feet but Reyes drags him back down.
Reyes working away.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Radal Mileno wasn't active enough on the ground.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Mileno connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Mileno ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Mileno scores with a hook.
Reyes drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
A nice inside leg kick there by Mileno. That's going to slow Reyes down.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Radal Mileno dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Reyes stuffs the takedown attempt from Mileno. Mileno gets slowly back to his feet.
Reyes takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Reyes looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Mileno throws a quick inside leg kick.
Reyes avoids the head kick by Mileno.
Mileno lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Mileno tries to roll over but Reyes keeps him under control.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mileno makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Mileno.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Mileno is trying to keep Reyes in close.
Reyes won't allow Mileno to get back to his feet.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Mileno is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Mileno changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Reyes tries to avoid it but Mileno manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Reyes to the ground. Reyes escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Mileno misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Reyes fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Mileno lands a nice leg kick that just misses Reyes's sensitive parts.
Mileno lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Reyes on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Mileno scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Mileno lands with a nice combination. Reyes backs away looking to recover.
Reyes swinging wildly here.
Mileno throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Reyes's head.
Reyes takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Mileno throws a right and a left that Reyes avoids nicely.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Mileno takes a swing at Reyes's ribcage but misses.

Reyes shoots in and bounces Mileno off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Reyes trying to control but Mileno is working from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Radal Mileno showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Reyes tries to keep at a distance but Mileno has taken the fight into the clinch.

Reyes jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Mileno walks away with a smile on his face. Reyes gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Mileno looks for a takedown but Reyes sprawls well.
Radal Mileno seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Reyes.
Mileno has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Mileno rushes Reyes and presses him up against the cage.
Reyes takes a knee right on the jaw!

Mileno decides to pull guard.
Reyes trying to control the position from guard on top but Mileno is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Mileno is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Reyes works a leg free and moves into half guard.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Radal Mileno was stalling too much, according to the referee.

We've been informed that Mileno has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Mileno breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Mileno drives through and clinches with Reyes against the cage.

Mileno manages to break the clinch.

Mileno tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Reyes paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Radal Mileno seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Mileno lands a high kick!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Reyes.
Mileno fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Mileno looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Reyes blocks a head kick by Mileno.
Mileno shoots in but Reyes avoids the takedown attempt easily.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Reyes looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mileno is fending him off so far but Reyes persists. Nope, Mileno circles away and we're back to standing.
Joe Penn Reyes has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Radal Mileno is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Mileno moves into the clinch.

Radal Mileno comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Mileno winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
