The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDonald fails with an attempt to clinch.
McDonald throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kimura fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Kimura looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Kimura swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kimura goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
McDonald defending well as Kimura loads up on a big left hand.
Kimura fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Kimura fails to land the takedown.

McDonald throws a leg kick which misses Kimura's front leg but catches the back leg as Kimura tries to avoid it.
Kimura throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

McDonald tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kimura was well out of range. Poor timing from McDonald.

Kimura shoots in looking for a takedown but McDonald manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kimura's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

and McDonald counters with a two punch combo.
McDonald fails with an attempt to clinch.

A telegraphed right hand from McDonald misses the target.
McDonald tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kimura manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Kimura throws a jab but it's blocked by McDonald.

McDonald closes the distance and clinches.

Kimura tries to stall but McDonald uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

McDonald lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Kimura or not.
Kimura tries a body shot but McDonald blocks it.

Kimura wants to get back to striking at distance but McDonald won't allow it.

Kimura is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

McDonald has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head and Kimura goes down! McDonald dives on top of him - Kimura manages to get guard.

Kimura is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

McDonald stands and steps away. Kimura gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Oh Kimura is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
McDonald dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
McDonald tries to clinch there but Kimura circles away.
McDonald walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Kimura drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! McDonald swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Kimura's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ronald McDonald!
An intense looking Ronald McDonald took to the microphone post fight and gave a little speech: 'Honestly, I had no idea I was going to get this opportunity!
