Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ollie Robbins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Dave Pierro!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pierro throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Robbins was covering up waiting for the punch and Pierro finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Robbins has Pierro pulled in close to control his posture.
Robbins's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Robbins rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pierro moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Pierro throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Robbins fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Pierro, pushing him back against the cage.
Robbins tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Robbins breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Pierro will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Pierro throws a nice looking combination but Robbins bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Pierro.
No joy there for Robbins, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Pierro goes for a double leg but Robbins avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Robbins continues to drive forward.

Robbins throws a right and a left that both miss.
Pierro swats away the attempt to clinch by Robbins.
Pierro scores with a kick to the body.
