The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henderson connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Guns goes for a double leg but Henderson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Henderson continues to drive forward.

Henderson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Guns walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Henderson wants to break free but Guns has control.

Guns closes the distance and clinches up with Henderson , looking for a takedown. Guns pushes Henderson against the cage but Henderson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Good leg kick by Henderson there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Guns will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Guns throws a nice looking combination but Henderson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Henderson throws a leg kick but Guns sees it coming and moves out of range.

Henderson throws a hook but Guns avoids it easily.

Henderson throws a right hand that Guns ducks under and follows up with a left that Guns also avoids with ease.
Guns dives in and grabs Henderson 's left leg, looking for a takedown. Henderson pushes down on Guns's head and hops out.

Henderson throws a shot from downtown. Guns moves away and avoids it.

Guns closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Guns lands in his opponent's guard.
Guns wants to control from the top but Henderson keeps moving.

Guns gets to his feet - Henderson follows without any prompting.

Guns tries to bum rush Henderson with a series of wild strikes but Henderson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Guns changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Henderson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Guns thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Henderson is looking for a sweep.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Guns wants to control but Henderson is keeping him busy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Dan Henderson will probably get the nod.

That's time! Guns's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Henderson dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Guns. That did some damage!

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Guns ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Henderson moves away.
Guns displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Henderson throws out the jab.
Henderson moves out of range of the body kick.
Guns tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Henderson defends well and Guns ends up having to push Henderson into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Henderson lands with a thumping leg kick.
Henderson takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Henderson pivots, looking for a leg kick but Guns is out of range and Henderson settles back down.

Henderson just misses with a punch to the body.

Henderson stuffs the takedown.

Oooooh!!! Henderson has knocked Guns down with a huge combo! Henderson steps away and waves a wobbly Guns back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Guns is rocked!

Henderson scores with a hook to the body. Guns takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Guns walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Henderson swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
