Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Peter Tosh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kari Jurri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tosh comes to the cage accompanied by Stepping Razor. Jurri comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Rising Darkness kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 10 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kari Jurri!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Arvi Lind and Tarja Halkonen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tosh shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Jurri defends it nicely.
Tosh throws a lazy body kick
and Jurri counters with a body kick that stops Tosh in his tracks momentarily.

Jurri attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Jurri throws a wild body kick that Tosh sees coming a mile off.
Jurri tries a head kick but it misses.
A head kick from Jurri lands but Tosh takes it in his stride.
Jurri shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Tosh pinned against the cage. Tosh gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Jurri goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Jurri connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Tosh momentarily.

Tosh tries to work over Jurri's front leg with a kick but Jurri checks it.
Tosh takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Jurri throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Tosh avoids the body shot from Jurri.
Tosh misses with a body kick.
Jurri throws a sloppy head kick and Tosh moves out of range easily.
Tosh is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jurri.
Tosh lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Jurri misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Tosh.
Jurri takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Tosh throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Jurri sees it coming and avoids it easily.

and Tosh decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jurri's guard.
Jurri wants to get back to his feet but Tosh passes into half guard.

Tosh is working for a kimura here but Jurri manages to reverse the position and he's now in Tosh's guard.
Tosh is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Jurri wants to stand but Tosh has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Tosh looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jurri is one step ahead there.

Tosh had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jurri defends it easily.

Jurri wants to get up but he can't break Tosh's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

A close round but Kari Jurri will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Tosh turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Jurri pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Jurri. Tosh shrugs it off though.
Tosh avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Tosh fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Jurri checks it well.

Jurri throws a sloppy head kick and Tosh moves out of range easily.
Jurri moves away from the strike by Tosh.
Jurri doesn't manage to clinch there - Tosh circles away.

Kari Jurri seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Jurri misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Tosh.
Kari Jurri seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tosh drives through with a takedown into Jurri's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Tosh sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Jurri's guard.
Jurri wants to get back to his feet.
Jurri wants to improve his position but Tosh is controlling well.
Tosh not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Tosh uses his free foot to push down on Jurri's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Jurri.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Tosh lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Jurri! Tosh sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Jurri and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
