The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scrader throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Spears tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Scrader manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Spears bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Spears blocks a leg kick.
Spears slips a straight right by Scrader.
Spears really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Scrader throws a poor cross that misses
and Spears counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Scrader throws a jab when Spears was well out of range.

Scrader lands a big uppercut and Spears crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Spears looks OK. Scrader waves Spears back to his feet!

Spears is rocked!

It looks like Steven Spears has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Scrader lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Spears is looking to close the distance but Scrader sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Spears crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Spears is OK because that was naaaaaasty!

Manx Scrader tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
