Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Miko Maia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tong Po (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maia comes to the cage accompanied by Hells Bells. Po is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Roots-Game Theory. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Yves DeLean and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maia closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Maia working aggressively here.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Maia swings wildly with an uppercut but Po uses good head movement to avoid it.
Po misses with some punches.
Maia is working Po over against the cage.
Maia lands with a right to the head.
Po lands a shoulder strike.
Po throws a punch but it's blocked by Maia.
Maia misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Maia scores with a shot to the side of Po's head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Maia stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Po misses with a punch to the body.
Maia throws a head punch that misses.
Maia lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Po looks winded!
Maia lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Po misses with some punches.
A head punch on the inside from Po fails to land.
Po pushes off an throws an elbow but Maia leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Po tumbles to the floor! Maia threw a big shot that dropped him and now Maia is on top looking to finish! Po has guard but can he survive?!
Po is rocked!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Maia gets to his feet and stands over Po, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Po felt that one! Maia unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Po from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Miko Maia!
Miko Maia seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
The defeated Tong Po had this to say: 'Well. The better man won so no excuses here. I'll be back . Better and stronger.'.
