Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Leigh Gibson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Weidman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Leigh Gibson has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Gibson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Weidman tries to get to full guard but Gibson has control of the leg.

Gibson seems to be working for a kimura but Weidman defends the submission attempt.

Gibson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Weidman doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Gibson.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Weidman has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Gibson should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Weidman has tightened it up now! Gibson should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
