The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laprise pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Wiatrzyk back to the cage. Laprise follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Wiatrzyk wants to clinch but Laprise slips to the side
and Laprise counters with a series of strikes. Wiatrzyk will be more careful next time no doubt.

Wiatrzyk shoots in looking for a takedown. Laprise tries to sprawl out of it but Wiatrzyk keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Laprise manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
