Long has control of May's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and May regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Long remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Long takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Long looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks May with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Long decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

and Long counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

The fight stays on the outside here - May looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Long feints and then cracks May's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow May down.

The referee asks Long politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Long prefers to stall for the moment though.

Long seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down May for as long as he can get away with.
Long throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from May lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Long has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Long and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Long, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
