The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laprise swinging wildly here.
Laprise takes a swing at Browne's ribcage but misses.
Laprise throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Browne misses with a few strikes there.
Laprise throws a series of punches but Browne avoids them all with ease.
Laprise fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Browne digs a good body shot into Laprise's ribs.
Browne connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Laprise's hands.
Laprise drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Browne swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Laprise misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Browne just misses with a punch to the body.
Sloppy strikes from Laprise. Those never looked like landing.
Laprise scores with a one two! Browne had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

No joy there for Browne, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Browne just misses with a punch to the body.
A combination from Laprise does no damage.
Browne lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Laprise circles away quickly and effectively.
Browne misses with a double jab.
Laprise throws out a loose jab but Browne uses good head movement to avoid it.
Browne pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Laprise back to the cage. Browne follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Browne scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Decent striking displayed by Browne there.
Browne connects with a good right hand that stumbles Laprise. Laprise circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Browne throws a nice looking combination but Laprise bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Laprise's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Browne connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Laprise scrambles back to his feet.
Browne will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Laprise looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Browne feints a jab promting Laprise to slip. Browne then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Laprise slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Laprise is rocked!
Laprise leaves his chin hanging out and Browne seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Laprise crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
