Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dorian Ellis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bug Spit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spit has chosen Human Insecticide as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spit swats away the attempt to clinch by Ellis.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Spit is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's time! Ellis's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Spit feints and as Ellis raises his hands in defense, Spit changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Spit tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Spit has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Ellis tries to buck Spit off but Spit is having none of it.

Spit has hold of Ellis's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Ellis tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Spit cranks the arm and Ellis screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Ellis, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
