The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Winters gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Aribiii to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Winters seems keen to control Aribiii's posture.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Aribiii pushes down on Winters's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Winters is controlling Aribiii's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Aribiii is trying to control. Winters wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Iheb Aribiii was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Winters tries to clinch up.

and Winters counters with a single leg into guard. Aribiii didn't expect that.
Aribiii wants to sweep but no luck.
Winters throwing strikes but missing.
Aribiii is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Aribiii is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Winters is controlling him.
Winters is looking to work some ground and pound but Aribiii has wrist control.

Aribiii is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Aribiii wants to lay and pray for a moment but Winters keeps working.

Aribiii uses his free foot to push down on Winters's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Winters.
Winters tries to lock up and control but Aribiii gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Winters holds on to Aribiii around his waist, trying desperately to prevent any attacks.

Winters is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

A big strike lands for Aribiii! That's really hurt Winters and he's turned his back - Aribiii keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Aribiii jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
