Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, JoJo Kush!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Michael Johnstone and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paranaue fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kush manages to avoid it.
Paranaue throws a looping overhand right but Kush ducks down to avoid it.
Kush has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Paranaue bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Kush's head.
Paranaue tries to clinch but Kush moves out of range.
Kush walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Paranaue thows a body shot but no joy.
Kush shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Paranaue sprawls well. Paranaue wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kush gets slowly back to his feet.

and Paranaue counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Paranaue throws a nice looking combination but Kush bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

and Kush counters with a right hand to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kush changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

and Kush counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Paranaue misses with the combination.
Paranaue throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kush is looking to land body kicks.
Kush is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Paranaue rather than just go for the knockout.
Paranaue misses with a hook to the body
and Kush counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Kush working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Kush forces his way into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kush breaks from Paranaue's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Kush is in the full mount, landing strikes.
It looks like Ginga Paranaue has been cut.
Paranaue's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Kush misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Ginga Paranaue's cut is getting worse.
Paranaue knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kush on the ground.
Kush can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Paranaue is looking to escape.

Paranaue wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Kush.
Kush is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Paranaue goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Kush!
