The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knight takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Rodrigo uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Knight.
Rodrigo scores with a leg kick.
Knight tries to bum rush Rodrigo with a series of wild strikes but Rodrigo uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Knight throws a right hand that Rodrigo ducks under and follows up with a left that Rodrigo also avoids with ease.
Rodrigo thuds his right hand into Knight's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Knight will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Knight misses with a double jab.
Rodrigo scores with a hook to the body. Knight takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Rodrigo lands with a hook. Knight tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rodrigo's jab looks to have found its range, popping Knight under the eye.

and Rodrigo counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
