Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Jorge Garcia and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stratton will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Luna displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Stratton throws out the jab.
Luna rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Stratton counters with a stiff right hand.
Luna fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Stratton manages to avoid it.
Stratton ducks under a wild hook from Luna.
Luna throws a jab but it's blocked by Stratton.
Stratton misses with a straight right.

and Stratton counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Stratton misses with an uppercut.
Stratton lands a jab to the head.
Stratton ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Luna moves away.
Stratton throws a shot to the body.
A left lands for Luna.
Luna misses with a low kick as Stratton jumps back.
Luna takes a shot to the body in his stride.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Luna throws the left hand but Stratton avoids the punch easily.
Luna throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Luna takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Luna misses with a straight left.
Stratton closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
You can see the frustration on Luna's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Stratton tries for a kimura but Luna is defending well.
Luna is looking for a sweep.
Stratton is chipping away with strikes.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Luna takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Luna is looking to get back to his feet here but Stratton is keeping cool and he's managed to take Luna's back.
Stratton lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Luna.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stratton lands strikes to the head.
Luna is rocked!
Stratton lands a good shot there. Luna covers up! Stratton smells blood and goes for the finish - the referee warns Luna to improve his position but he's not intelligently defending himself and the referee has no choice but to step in and end the fight! Stratton jumps to his feet and celebrates the important win with his cornermen!
