Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Damien Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Simpson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva comes to the cage accompanied by Bring Da Ruckus. Simpson has chosen Last of the Mohicans Theme as his entrance music. Brandon Simpson is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Silva.

Silva wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Simpson, who protects the arm well.

Silva thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Silva tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Simpson tries to bench press Silva off him but Silva keeps the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
