These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Fedor Mirinova and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grubaneiro throws a series of punches but Jones avoids them all with ease.
Jones connects with a body shot that sends Grubaneiro's belly button to the back.
Jones moves into the clinch.
Jones prevents Grubaneiro from breaking the clinch.
Grubaneiro tries to circle away but Jones has him pinned against the cage.
Jones drops down looking for an ankle pick but Grubaneiro pulls his leg out and moves away.
Grubaneiro lands with an overhand left.
Josh Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Grubaneiro throws a body punch but Jones moves out of range.
Jones takes the fight into the clinch.
Jones lands a takedown into guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Grubaneiro really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jones. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Jones drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jones jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Jones is pushing down on Grubaneiro's leg trying to pass to half guard. Grubaneiro is fighting to maintain full guard but Jones has managed to sneak the leg through.
Jones has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Grubaneiro defend it? Jones steps over the head and cranks it - Grubaneiro is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Jones!
