Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Juan Cabrillo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hell Rose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cabrillo misses with a lunging right hand
and Rose counters with a straight right hand.
Rose throws a hook but Cabrillo avoids it easily.
Cabrillo steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Rose.
Rose lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Cabrillo throws a right and a left that both miss.

Rose closes the distance and clinches.
Cabrillo tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Rose's elbow.
Rose lands a right hand that snaps the head of Cabrillo backwards.
Rose told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.

Rose is pressed up against the cage. Cabrillo has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Rose down to the mat. Rose avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Cabrillo is stalling here. Rose is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Cabrillo seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Rose has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Rose has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Hell Rose decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
