The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Steven Brown and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacobs avoids the body shot from Bruce.

and Bruce counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Bruce.
Jacobs wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Bruce gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Jacobs regains guard.

Jacobs really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Bruce's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Bruce is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Jack Bruce wasn't active enough on the ground.
Bruce shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Bruce was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Bruce in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Jacobs is looking to get back to his feet here but Bruce is keeping cool and he's managed to take Jacobs's back.

Bruce is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
