Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jonh Kurtis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ashiq Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kurtis comes to the cage accompanied by Wrong Answer. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jonh Kurtis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ashiq Khan! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Leandro Rodrigues and Paulo Santos.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kurtis is looking to clinch but Khan is avoiding it.
Khan shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Kurtis bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Khan's guard. Kurtis looking to pass the guard. Kurtis passes easily into side control. Nice work. Kurtis tries to move to mount but Khan blocks the move with his legs.
Kurtis looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Khan wants to control but Kurtis postures up.
Kurtis wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Khan, who protects the arm well. Khan is looking to reverse the position.
Kurtis is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Khan is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Kurtis working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Kurtis tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Kurtis is breathing heavily.
Kurtis thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Who's going to make the next move?
Kurtis is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Khan is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Khan tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Kurtis wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Khan struggling a bit here.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Khan tries to buck Kurtis off but Kurtis is having none of it. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Khan can do anything to dispel that myth.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Khan with a jab.
Khan scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Kurtis is being controlled here. Khan tries to advance to mount but can't. Khan slows the pace down. Khan's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Khan creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Khan decides to stand back up. Khan steps back and let's Kurtis get back to his feet.
 That's three minutes gone in the round.
Khan pushes Kurtis up against the cage in a clinch. Kurtis misses with an elbow strike.
Khan avoids the elbow strike from Kurtis, against the cage.
With the fighters up against the cage, Kurtis throws an elbow but misses.
Khan has picked Kurtis up - he's going for a ride! Khan dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Khan is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Khan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kurtis. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Kurtis wants to improve his position but Khan is controlling well.
Kurtis looking for submissions off his back. Kurtis is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Well, if Khan is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight� I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza� Yum. Can't wait.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Khan trying to pass the guard but Kurtis defending well. Khan prevents Kurtis from improving his position.
 The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Khan lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Kurtis backs up against the cage.
Jonh Kurtis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kurtis tries to close the distance and clinch up but Khan swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Khan. Kurtis manages to work his way to half guard, despite Khan's best efforts. Khan controlling the action here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Khan prevents Kurtis from improving his position. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Ashiq Khan dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Khan digs a good body shot into Kurtis's ribs.
Khan closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Kurtis is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Khan off and has taken his back!
Kurtis is working the back position looking for the choke. Oh, he's slid into an armbar! Beautiful transition and Khan taps out! Fantastic Jiu Jitsu from Kurtis.
