Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shane Hess!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Abel Toushiro!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hess darts in and clinches Toushiro up against the cage.
Hess jumps guard but Toushiro turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Toushiro looking for a takedown.
Hess stops a takedown attempt from Toushiro.
Hess throws a punch but it's blocked by Toushiro.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Toushiro.
Toushiro is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Hess gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Shane Hess has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Abel Toushiro.
Toushiro pulls Hess into guard.
Hess is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Toushiro has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Hess is looking to defend but Toushiro has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Hess! Toushiro pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Hess taps out and this one is all over!
