PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Master Chuin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kirill Petrov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chuin's entrance music is Remo WIlliams Theme. A fine choice. Petrov has chosen Iron Man as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chuin has his takedown stuffed

and Petrov counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Chuin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Petrov has hold of Chuin's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Chuin manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

I really don't envy Chuin right now.

Petrov has control of Chuin's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Chuin regains control of the situation pretty easily.

I would just about give that final round to Kirill Petrov.
Well Petrov has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
